Peaceful Protesters

Everyday we see news reports on the TV, Internet, Phone or however you get your news feed, stories about the “mostly peaceful protesters” for Social Justice or Racial Equality. I will write a post sometime in the future about my views of social injustice and racial inequality but for the moment I am focusing on what I see as portrayed as “mostly peaceful protesters” by both the left and right wing news outlets.

How does one define the term “peaceful protesters”? To me, a “peaceful protester” is a protest without violence. Hence a “peaceful protest” is non-violent and those involved do not allow violence to be associated with their effort or cause. A peaceful protest is a movement or demonstration of a person or a group of people in order to bring attention to or to right a wrong or injustice with the absence of violence and physical harm to others or property. When a protest or demonstration sinks into chaos and physical, mental or emotional violence then it is no longer a peaceful protest. In my book, a protest is either peaceful or it is not.

Hence, the term “mostly peaceful protest” I feel is an oxymoron. Calling a riot a “mostly peaceful protest” has nothing to do with reality. It is like trying to assert that I am kind of a virgin, I am kind of pregnant, I am almost a Ph.D. Many things in life are actually binary. Either it is or it is not. Protests in my view are like that too. Either a protest is peaceful or it is not.

China vs the US – Really?

Globalist postulate that in order to achieve detente and avoid all out World War III with China the US must decline to and allow the debt driven Neo-colonizing China and multiple other nations within the Chinese Belt initiative to rise and replace us as a super-power. Specifically, they want a totalitarian draconian state-run Marxist economy to replace American capitalism which was founded upon the principles of individual freedom and liberty. The interesting fact is for the US to do so and to allow world economic domination by China and its colonies would ultimately require Americans to surrender our their rouged individualism, our privacy, our personal rights and our cognitive liberty.

This is something most Americans will not do. China, through its colonialism and so-called benevolence and multi-lateral treaties and economic agreements is trying to leverage their money and economic influence with the rest of world in order to isolate and force the US into adopting a circular Marxist economy primarily run by totalitarian plutocrats lead by China. This is fine for the privileged few but it eliminates the rights and ability of the average person from achieving or surviving without the express consent of the autocratic elite.

Throughout history we have seen the failure and overthrow of these systems that trample upon people’s individual rights and freedoms to enrich the societal elites and to enslave the minds and souls of what they view as ungrateful bitter commoners. Ultimately these systems give lip service to the rights of all stakeholders but, in truth there are very few true legitimate stakeholders in a totalitarian government. The unspoken concept in Marxist thought is that individual rights is in direct conflict with the rights of the collective (or workers or people). The collective concept fails to recognize the sanctity of individual life and the worth of all of God’s peoples. They do not value personal and cognitive liberties, a pillar in western civilization. The idea of the sanctity of individual rights is deemed to be in opposition to rights of government (collective) so it ultimately needs to be programmed out of the culture through indoctrination of children about how destructive these ideas and values are to the advancement of civilization.

If we look throughout human history, almost all of the biggest advances in easing the burdens and meeting our physiological needs (human survival) came out from capitalistic societies. Once our basic needs are meet and we have free time, people are free to explore their cognitive abilities to improve both themselves and their communities. Advances in agriculture, shelter, medicine, technology and security have all been driven throughout the centuries by individuals with to time to figure out a way to make life easier for themselves and their families. It was not from the elite with some altruistic goal of improving the life of the ruling class. Hence, within our freedom loving American capitalistic society each individual has potential of obtaining money and power through creativity, innovation and exercise of our cognitive liberty. The difference in our society versus a Marxist society is we are working to better ourselves and not forced to work or forced to use our abilities to make life better for the privileged elites.

The Marxist conflict with the American system is based in the American’s recognition that the government is an agreement of individuals joining together for the common purpose of survival, advancement and security to assist all individuals in the contract to better achieve their goals and ambitions. A government for the people and by the people or the government is subservient to the people. In contrast, totalitarian governments like China view their role as owners of a system they developed and the people (collective) are just “honey bees” or a means to fulfill the security, wants, desires, advancement, entertain and to feed the ruling class. Survival of the few is the primary objective not of the survival and development of all individuals. We see that totalitarian governments will use Marxist ideals to justify their personal greed and to convince the collective that they have their best interest at heart. They view the people, or collective, is beholden to the benevolence of the government.

Lansing Vs Portland

I spent all day yesterday watching Attorney General William Barr testify. While it was informative on the cultural divide and differing points of view in this country, I take exception to the parallels drawn between the protests in Lansing Michigan vs Portland Oregon by a certain radical member of the US House of Representatives.

During the hearing, Ms Jayapal (by the way from Washington State) made a statement “But in Michigan when protesters carried guns and Confederate flags and swastikas and called for the governor of Michigan to be beheaded and shot and lynched, somehow you are not aware of that“.

First I would like to point out that Attorney General Barr is the head of the Justice Department of the United States. From my limited knowledge of the law and of the separation of Federal powers versus States’ powers I believe that AG Barr’s (or Justice Department’s) duties is limited to charging those who break Federal Law and not to those breaking State Law. Maybe this is a over simplification, but I think it is somewhat accurate.

So let’s dissect Ms. Jayapal’s statement and ask if Federal Law was violated:

  • Protesters carried guns” – Is it against Federal Law to carry a gun on property owned by the State of Michigan? NOT in this case! It could be against Michigan law but it is not breaking their state law since Michigan is an open-carry state and it is NOT illegal to bear firearms inside of the statehouse in Michigan. It is also NOT against Federal Law as the State of Michigan has jurisdiction over their property not the Federal government. In fact, from a Federal standpoint, the second amendment to the US Constitutions generally allows Americans to bear arms. While the Federal Courts have allowed local jurisdictions to limit that right in specific instances, the State of Michigan has chosen not to at their state capital. So, in my opinion, Ms. Jayapal has no legal argument. In her statement she is suggesting the AG should disregard the US Constitution and Federal Codes and arrest and charge those holding scary fire arms relying on her opinion and not actual state or Federal law. My opinion is that a true patriot respects differences in or a diversity of opinions. Only fascists uses force and feelings to make others conform to their view.
  • Confederate Flags” – Again, is it against Federal Law to carry a Confederate Flag? NO WAY! It may not be politically correct or frowned upon by others but this is America. It is one of our fundamental rights to enjoy free expression of thought and ideas. As for flags, we can even burn American Flags and it is not against Federal Law. We can carry Mexican flags, Chinese flags, Russian flags, LBGT flags, state flags anytime we want. That is the American way and we do it all the time. Ms. Jayapal’s implies in her statement that it was the AG’s duty to arrest and charge those with different political views than her own. In my opinion, this is in conflict with both American rights and ideals.
  • and swastikas” – It is against Federal Law to display or wear a swastika? NO WAY! While I agree that maybe it was a distasteful way to express the protester’s frustration because of the symbol utilized, it is not a Federal crime to display,wear or to protest with a swastika. I would also remind Ms. Jayapal it is also not illegal in America to be a NAZI. Again, it is a fundamental right in America to express our political views, even repulsive views. If Representative Jayapal would have done her homework instead of relying just reports from unreliable sources, she would have seen that the swastikas displayed were on signs suggesting that the Michigan Governor was being a fascist dictator with her shut-down orders. The protesters were trying to compare her orders to the fascist mandates used by NAZI’s in Germany in the 1930’s. Even the Speaker of the House has made similar references to Trump referring to the DHS and US Marshals as his “Storm troopers.” Apparently its OK for Democrats to make references to NAZI’s (although it could be a Star Wars reference) about their opponents but think it is a Federal Crime for anyone to make NAZI (or Star Wars) references concerning a Democrat.
  • and called for the governor of Michigan to be beheaded and shot and lynched – Is this speech against Federal Law? I don’t know the legal answer to this but I think NOT. Why? Well no one was prosecuted when people n NYC’s Central Park depicted beheading President Trump. In fact, my recollection is that these individuals were praised in the media as patriots for boldly exercising their first amendment rights of free speech. If it is not a Federal Crime to advocate that the President of the United States be beheaded, then likewise it cannot be a Federal crime to advocate such for a state Governor. If I am wrong and it is a Federal crime, I would note that the Federal Government has not prosecuted those type of threats against President Trump and again, under our Constitution we expect equal treatment (not selective treatment) under the law which was stated by the AG as his goal: to restore confidence in equal treatment under the law for all Americans.
  • Is the Michigan capital building and grounds where the anti-lock-down protest was held on Federal property? NO. I believe it is the property of the State of Michigan therefore, it is Michigan’s responsibility to hold anyone in that peaceful demonstration that might have violated Michigan laws accountable not AG Barr’s duty. As a side note, I cannot find any reports of vandalism, arson or violence, against either lawmakers of the officers protecting the Michigan capital building only references to scary items which were in the lawful possession a few of the demonstrators.

So, getting back to the alleged usurpation of duties by AG Barr, what Federal Law was broken in Lansing that the Justice Department or AG Barr failed to enforce? I just don’t know of any so maybe Ms Jayapal could elaborate because those items she mentioned is really a “nothing sandwich” which appears to distract and imply responsibility to AG Barr where non exists. If Ms. Jayapal believes these should items and actions should be unlawful at the Federal level, then she should introduce legislation in Congress and push to make it so.

In contrast, lets look at Portland where Ms. Jayapal implies that AG Barr has overstepped his duties by sending in US Marshalls and arresting people. It is my understanding that part of the Justice Department duties is to arrest and prosecute people in violation of Federal statues. So is it a Federal Crime to:

  • Intentionally destroy Federal Property? – YES
  • Intentionally deface Federal Property? – YES
  • Intentionally break windows of a Federal building? – YES
  • Fire explosive materials (fireworks) at Federal employees? – YES
  • Throw kerosene filled balloons in a Federal building and start fires? – YES
  • Attempt to set fire to, or to actually set fire to Federal facilities? – YES
  • Attempt to permanently blind a Federal employee with a laser? – YES
  • Attempt to harm a Federal employee? – YES
  • Throw rocks, bricks, water bottles, feces at Federal employees? – YES
  • Interfere with the lawful arrest of those committing Federal Crimes? – YES
  • Obstruct Justice by shielding or hiding those committing Federal Crimes? – YES

These are all Federal Crimes and we see these Federal crime are being perpetrated nightly in Portland. So I believe that it IS AG Barr’s duty and responsibility to use the police powers of the Justice Department to apprehend and convict those in violation of Federal law and statutes.

In short, what happened at the peaceful anti-lock-down demonstrations in Lansing appears to me to have no comparison to what is happening in Portland. In one case (Lansing) it appears it was a peaceful protest without illegal activity from individuals who view certain actions of the Michigan governor as an overreach and as unlawful. In the other case (Portland) the peaceful protests seem to erupt into nightly acts of theft, vandalism, violence and attacks on Federal property and employees which are in violation of Federal law and statutes.

I think that most honest people would conclude that what happened in Lansing can not be compared to what is happening in Portland. As the Attorney General so eloquently stated in his testimony “Since when is it okay to burn down a federal court

Why I stand

It distresses me to see people kneeling during the National Anthem with a fist raised. Why? These are are two powerful Marxist symbols combined to demonstrate servant-hood joined with violence. These two symbols also indicates that the person no longer has a spirit of hope, freedom and independence but have relegated their freedoms and choices to others and have chosen to be slaves of that ideology.

Just watch a movie and what does kneeling before a king, queen or villain connote? It means you have been defeated and ready for complete subjugation and obligation to the villain. That you are ready to unquestioningly serve and do their will. In movies and in real life, the bad guys are always insisting that the good guys bow before them and serve them band to blindly follow orders.

Likewise the symbol of a raised fist connotes that one is able, ready and willing to use violence and force to achieve their goals. They will use all means necessary to dominate and subject others to follow them or their leaders. The raised fist is not a symbol of peaceful persuasion, willingness to negotiate for mutual benefit but, of one of subjection and domination by force.

In contrast, being a true American means we do not kneel before some government, king or villain but we are ready to stand up for what we believe, right or wrong, even to the death. We are servants of no earthly power or person and this has been the proud heritage and the Right of all American people. We do not bow or kneel for anything, or anyone, except our Creator. We stand for what we believe is right and not what our government or any person tells us is right. We use our God given conscience and God given intellect to make our own decisions. We stand and we ” pledge our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor” (from the Declaration of Independence) to hold onto our beliefs in accordance to our own experiences and opinions. This is ultimately a God given right for each of us and it is not a privilege that has been granted by some benevolent bureaucrat. That is what it means to be a true American. We are not sheep to be controlled by others and so we stand either together or alone proudly acknowledging our rights, our choices and our equality with government.

Standing for the National Anthem or Pledge of Alliance is acknowledging that we are not mere pawns for the government but that we are willing and ready to stand with our government not as servants but equals to or owners of that government. I will not kneel in servant hood to my government.

We also stand in respect and to honor to those valiant individuals who came before us dedicating themselves even their lives, fortunes and honor for the freedoms of those they never knew. In standing it is an expression that we hope that someday we too can be judged worthy of their trust and sacrifice for not only their freedom but the freedoms of all peoples enslaved and forced to kneel under the brutality of others.

This is why I stand.

My Thoughts on Mitt Romney

My thoughts on the Senator from Utah – Mitt Romney, NOBODY LIKES YOU AND NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR OPINIONS. Yes I am shouting that statement really loud.

Remember, you are just a carpetbagger that ran for the senate in Utah because you couldn’t get elected as dog catcher any place else in the country. What got you elected in Utah was “saving” the Winter Olympics after the pay-for-play/bribery scandals and your connections with the LDS Church. Your attitudes and ideal are from Michigan and Massachusetts not Utah. You have no empathy or real connection with most Utahans.

The only time you really ever spent in Utah was skiing a few weeks a year at you secluded mega mansion in Park City. You have no idea how most Utahans thinks or act. I went to JHS, HS and college in Utah (15 years) and have more of an understanding what Utahan are like than do you even though I have not lived there for 35 years and consider myself from Colorado.

You got elected because the LDS Church supported you for the Republican candidate. The only Democrats elected in Utah are within local elections in and around Salt Lake City. Continue throwing your childish temper tantrums, hatred, opposition and disgust for President Trump and Utah may elect a Democrat as a Senator when you come up for re-election. I have a lot of friends and family in the state and most regret voting for you. The praise you get from the pundits and press from all your petty barbs stem from the fact that you representing moderate eastern liberals and not the moral family values enshrined within the hearts of Utahans through their faith and culture.

When I look at your character, I find no evidence that you have any. You brought us the ACA (Obama Care) through your stellar work as Governor of Massachusetts. After it passed, you apparently abandoned Massachusetts to avoid any fallout of its failures. Just like you also abandoned the Winter Olympics before opening ceremonies. You couldn’t get elected President because you have no backbone and refused to do what you needed to do in order to prove you had what it takes for the office. You and your sons could have made a significant dent into the vote of the Hispanic communities during your Presidential run but you refused to leverage the time, language skills and knowledge of their culture gained gained from your family and as LDS missionaries in South America. You abandoned your family heritage and refused to reach out to the Hispanic communities in both California and Colorado during your run. You failed to show this large and growing sector of Americans how your values were closely aligned to theirs. I wonder how different California would be right now if you lived up to your responsibility to both your heritage, God, Country and Party during your Presidential Campaign.

Mitt Romney, please shut-up, NOBODY LIKES YOU AND NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR OPINIONS except a bunch of blue state liberals.

The Church’s Response to BLM

I am writing this entry to give my thoughts about the relationship of the Church and its support of the Black Lives Matters (BLM) moment. I am a Christian and my deeply held belief is that the Church and all Christians need to support and evaluate moments and ideals consistent with Godly principles. How we live our lives must conform to the love and compassion that Jesus has for his children. To bring it into current speech we would say WWJD or What Would Jesus Do!

Values and ideals consistent with the nature of God should be embraced by the Church while those that are inconsistent with His nature are not from God but the enemy of our soul. While there are many Godly principles we could use to evaluate the BLM moment and their motives, I will limit my discussion to four attributes which I believe are part of the nature of God and Jesus:

  1. Love;
  2. Peace;
  3. Reconciliation; and
  4. Forgiveness.

Love – The God we worship in the Christian Church is a God of Love. As we are so often reminded in life that “God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16). Where do we see Love as part of the BLM movement? If we look at the BLM website, the only mention of Love in their mission statement is states: “We are unapologetically Black in our positioning. In affirming that Black Lives Matter, we need not qualify our position. To love and desire freedom and justice for ourselves is a prerequisite for wanting the same for others.” I believe it is interesting that the only Love mentioned in their mission statement is Love for freedom and justice for the Black community and not for men, women and young people in general. If we look at the recent protests and rallies where is the demonstration of Love within the gatherings?

Peace – We read in 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” God does not deal in confusion or mayhem and Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. Looking at even the “peaceful” demonstrations we see anger and hatred towards churches, businesses, the police and others. Yelling and screaming at church members in Troy NY trying to worship and preach about the love of Jesus, the love of God and forgiveness of sin. This is not in harmony with the Peace of God. If we look at the marches and protests to demand change from both Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi these two strove to right injustices through peaceful demonstrations and resistance. The BLM movement, while claiming to be peaceful, we see their demonstrations turn to throwing bricks, rocks, setting fires, defacing and destroying public and private property and violent outbursts of hatred directed at the police, average citizens and ultimately shooting of people and children. Where is the Peace of God exhibited in these BLM demonstrations?

Forgiveness and Reconciliation – paramount to the Christian life is Forgiveness and Reconciliation two aspect of a Godly heart which go hand-in-hand. Jesus came and died for our sins as payment for those sins. We have been reconciled to God for all eternity through the death of Jesus. Christian Churches believe in the unconditional love of God through Jesus’ death on the cross, God is the author of forgiveness and reconciliation. One of the finest reflection of Godly people is their ability to forgive and patch up broken relationships through the power of God moving within us. God wants us to forgive . We as the church must remember the words in Colossians 3:13 “if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.and be restored to one another” and 2 Corinthians 5:18: “…in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.” Christians forgive and reconcile not take revenge and exact payments.

What I see in the BLM movement is not an effort to work towards reconciliation and forgiveness , a fundamental building blocks of Christianity, but a call for racial factions to rise up and to seek payment and revenge for the past injustices and sins of our forefathers. It appears to me, the movement does not seek change in love and peace as did Dr. King but, to use the call of solidarity to force change anyway possible, even through violence. They want reparations (payment) and revenge. They want more than just an eye for an eye. They seek to eliminate any structure that can stand in opposition of total power. They want America and Corporations to grovel and, they have demonstrated that they will personally destroy any who disagree and does not take a knee to their Marxist psychobabble.

Ultimately, a movement, organization or government should not be held up as a Godly example or commended for Godly ideals by the Church if their goals, actions and aspirations do not conform to Godly values. If their activities do not reflect the Godly principles of love, peace, forgiveness, reconciliation and unity then the movement is not inspired by God. The Church needs to remember who is the author of anger, hate, revenge, violence and division. It is the enemy of our soul (Satan) not God. Hence, it is the Churches’ responsibility not to endorse but to educate our members of the potentially dangerous path the BLM organization is trying to assert upon free men, women and young people around the globe.

July 4 – Remembering American Freedoms

The 4th of July is a celebration of freedom. It is important to remember what freedom is about and why people flock to the US to be free. The first 10 amendments (Bill of Rights) to our Constitution defines our basic freedoms that our government needs to respect. These include freedom of speech, freedom to worship, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, right to petition our government, freedom to bear arms, equal treatment under the law (14th amendment).

Historically people have immigrated to the US to escape tyrannical regimes and to be free. Early immigrants coming to the “new world” came to worship without interference or state dictated religion. Others immigrated came looking for freedoms because they were jailed if they disagreed with policies, objected to their leaders, private property was confiscated and legal proceedings favored the government and the wealthy. The Bill of Rights allows American citizens the freedom to speak, say and believe what they accept as truth and sets limits on powers of the Federal and State government and has enshrined those freedoms as rights of the people.

Historically we have cherished our American freedoms because it gives us the right to worship as a Baptist, Catholic, Jew, Hindu, Islam, Buddhist, Methodist, Luther, Quaker, LDS, all of the above, other or none of the above.

Freedom also means that the government cannot dictate our political views. This means we can be a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian or none of the above. But it goes deeper than just political party affiliation. American Freedom gives us the right to say what we want politically.

Our American values say that every Americans have the right to believe and say what our individual beliefs and values dictate. This means we have the freedom to be a communist, a socialist, a Marxist, a Vegan, a meat eater, a capitalist, a member of PETA, a member of Greenpeace, a black panther, a white supremacist, a member of Black Lives Matters, a supported of Trump, a hater of Trump, a member of the KKK, a member of the ACLU, etc. A true American and Patriot believes that people have the right to have differing views and that those rights cannot be trampled upon by government if we do not violate the rights of those with different views. That may be a simple paraphrase of our Freedoms. However,we have always held that Americans have the right to say and believe anything we want and have the right to disagree with our government, our family and others without fear of retribution. That is what countless of our people have fought, bleed and died for over our history.

Why are so Many People Upset with the Police

We hear time and time again “defund” the Police. I believe this is one of the most moronic ideas ever which has arisen from the so-called Race Riots of 2020. While the riots started as a protest of unequal treatment of young black men at the hands of the police, national statistics and data tends to discredit this view. However, this is a real sentiment even among the few black Americans that I personally know. It is prevalent in communities of color and it is not made up as many would contend. It comes from black communities’ experience and I will not denigrate the belief.

I postulate in this post that the riots are an expression well beyond the mistreatment of black Americans at the hands of the police and systemic racism as many shallow thinkers contend night after night on the news channels. Look at the number of young privileged white people and people color that are not black participating in these riots and demonstrations. I believe that the unrest and anger directed toward the police is really underlain by deep seated issues that most Americans regardless of race have experienced but, the average elite doesn’t understand. Many Americans empathize with the defund police movement due to the broader issues of:

  1. Corruption of our Elected Leaders who are protected and unaccountable;
  2. Corruption of our Courts who are protected and unaccountable;
  3. Unequal treatment within our justice system of those who are protected and unaccountable;
  4. Arbitrary shutting down our work and taking our jobs by people who are protected and unaccountable;
  5. Suspension of our Constitutional Rights by a Supreme Court who is protected and unaccountable; and
  6. Suppression by the elite of an average people’s rights for free speech without accountability.

Notice the common thread with each of the above items. The people treading upon our lives and freedoms are elitist that have actually placed themselves above the law yet, they tell the rest of America that no one is above the law. I believe that most Americans see this hypocrisy and has seen the two tiered justice system that the elites are oblivious to (i.e., they just don’t get it). Why? because the elites, in general, are protected and unaccountable for their actions using the laws they demand to be upheld.

So why is the people’s angry directed toward the police (another group that is general protected and unaccountable). Before I answer that question I will state that I support the Police almost 100 percent of the time. While we hear on certain news channels pundits saying 99 percent of the police are patriotic and are good and honest people. My experience is that 99.99 percent are good, well meaning, patriotic individuals interested in keeping both us and our property safe not 99 percent.

However, I also serve as a Chaplain at my local county jail and see the systemic injustice which preys on the poorest and weakest section of our population. This is perpetuated by Judges, Legislators, Governor and the Police all of whom are generally protected and unaccountable for their actions by the same law they take an oath to enforce.

With that said I will express my opinion. The anger of Americans directed towards police is because many American believes we are becoming a police state, not a beacon of freedom. Their rights and liberties are being trampled by the Press, Congress, Governors, Bureaucrats, large Corporations, Mayors, Police, ….. etc. all which appear to be above law. What most Americans see is there is no sense of equal justice under the law a founding principle of the American justice system.

For example, what are Americans suppose to think when a beauty shop operator trying to make a living to feed her family is arrested and thrown into jail by a corrupt Judge enforcing the unconstitutional orders of a Governor trampling upon her rights citing public health concerns. The last time I read the Constitution there was no exceptions for Public Health concerns in the bill of rights. Likewise, when an out of control police officer unjustly kills a person, most of time is not accountable they write it off as an honest mistake. Try using that defense if you kill your neighbor.

Typically, the government tells Americans tough sh** because of the immunity granted to police officers. Americans are angry that no one is ever held accountable for most miscarriages of justice or out-of-control Bureaucrats. These people cost lives, money, confiscate property or suppress our freedoms with no accountability and there minimal recourse for one if they are wrong. Most American cannot afford either the time or money to challenge the authorities and if they try, the authorities will end up ruining us financially and socially. If we do prevail, again, the most we get a “never mind” after spending a lot or money and years of our life in the courts and/or prison system.

If the problem is much larger than the police, why is there so much anger at the police? Well the police are the armed employees or army commissioned by the Courts, Governors, Mayors, Congress to ensure their will (right or wrong) is imposed upon the American public. Its not the Governor of NJ that goes and arrests the lone person sitting on a deserted beach, it is the police. It is not the mayor of Los Angles or the Governor of California that issues a $5000 fine for being on a beach or sitting and praying in a mostly empty church, it is the local police. Unfortunately, despite their personal feelings, it is their job to enforce the orders from their state and local jurisdictions. The elites do not understand that many Americans see many irresponsible act of government as forcefully imposing the will of the state or extracting money at gun point. the government sees it as a necessary action to maintain public safety and, if we don’t like we can spend years and millions of dollars in the courts.

In short, it is the policeman which has little or no accountability for violating constitutional rights or civil liberties when they are obeying a court order or an order by a mayor or governor that support the tyranny of the elites. The police is the public face of the system trampling out the hopes and dreams of millions of Americans hence, they are blamed for the totalitarianism and they are given guns, bullets, pepper spray and batons to enforce it with physical force. Police training instills into an officer that in a confrontation they have absolute authority and the American public MUST OBEY.

The police are also trained that it is not their job to interpret a statute but to arrest or cite a person. That person can then challenge the arrest of unjust law or actions in court. Yea, right. However, as a Chaplain at the local county jail I have seen first hand how well challenging an arrest (usually more charges are piled on because in the officer’s opinion you did not obey his commands thus resisting his authority even when such resistance is only verbal or requesting clarification for the officer’s action). Challenging a court ruling is impossible for the average American as it requires lots of money that the average hard working American does not have thus, we are forced to submit to the tyranny of the system to prevent financial ruination. Many believe that we have a justice and legal system which is rigged for the elite (money). Most Americans that I know do not believe that there is currently equal justice under the law in the United States regardless of race and that justice is really a function of wealth.

Dr Fauci – Follow the Money

I am writing this as so many people with a (D) after their name say we need to heed Dr. Fauci’s warning and begin re-closing sectors of the economy and adding new restrictions. While many contend that Dr. Fauci’s opinion is based on science, we forget he has a horse in the race. Look at the increase in funding that his agency (NIAID) has received for tracking, research and everything related to the Wuhan Virus. The longer that the virus is perceived as a threat to the American people the longer he can justify to Congress and the American people the emergency funding and even increases for his agency. If the threat of the Wuhan virus dies down, this funding will most likely evaporate and his status and TV exposure vanish. Hence, it is prudent that one carefully review the actual science and not Dr. Fauci’s remarks or opinions. He may be right about the increase of the spread, but he has not had a robust track record predicting the virus so far. The hysteria he can create with his opinions without much scientific basis will ruin the lives and finances of millions of hard working Americans. The money in terms of billions of dollar in tax-payer money to his agency cannot justify the potential ruin of our neighbors and economy.

Russians Paying Bounty

To me this is such a non-issue and should not be consuming so much of the news-cycle. Granted, it is so easy to condemn Vladimir Putin for paying a bounty for the killing of US soldiers (if it is actually true). Personally I think it is wrong for Russia to do this. However, how can we as the US condemn these actions when we ourselves have have a history of paying very large bounties ($5 to $10 million) for Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Somali, etc leaders. I am almost embarrassed for those pushing this outrage as it is, in my opinion, pure hypocrisy on the part of my country. It brings to mind the old saying : “the Pot calling the Kettle xxxxx” (can’t use the word as I might get tagged as a racist). Maybe our Congress, the House and Senate both, should make sure to clean up their own actions before condemning those of others.
